walking towards the exit. or is it the entrance?
feeling my heart race, my belly tighten, my temples pulsate.
happy. confused.
what to expect?
ok, breathe.
i am breathing!
trying to calm the breathing. feels like an effort.
heart still racing.
nothing changes. i just breathe more. feel just as tight with more air.
then i remember my pelvis.
my legs. my low belly.
for a moment i focus on the sensation of my bones.
carrying me, without effort.
just because they’re there.
and then i can relax.
my heart is still racing. life is exciting!
but the belly is wider. the chest can move when i breathe.
the temples are free.
i can be there.
and then i see the smile
